Jude is gearing up for his big vacation to the black hills. Jon and I are gearing up for what is normally an 8 hour drive. Based on our shorter car trips to Brookings and Huron - what normally takes a person 8 hours to drive may take us more like 11 or 12 with a 2 month old that hates his car seat and not having mom and dad's attention. Awesome.....

no way, he doesn't cry in the car does he, he seems like he is just too cute to cry;) good luck!
ps. putting myself out there for judgment, but driving with Lilly across the country, I took her out of the car seat and fed her. if you feel comfortable you should try it.
I can't believe how much he has changed! It has only been a couple weeks since I saw him last!

Oh you are brave brave souls! I cringe at the thought of driving even to the coast and that's just 2 hours away! Ella hates her car seat too...and the whole theory that they fall asleep riding in the car, ya that's out the window! You are gonna have one very packed trunk full of baby stuff. Can't wait to hear how it goes.

Too cute, he is holding his head up really well, crawling before you know it. Good luck on the road...we will be going through it too. Can't wait to see you in a few days.

He is so darn cute...Maybe once you get to 'bear country' he'll be content.:) So excited for your move closer to Mike and Danielle. Too bad they're in CinCin right now.
