Jude is 3 years old!
Happy Third Birthday Jude. Has it been three years already? We celebrated in style with 3 birthday celebrations: Gma and Papa Gee (I forgot to take photos), a party with your besties, and gma and papa Meendering. A half hour before Jude's party with his friends he took a kids lawn chair onto our front porch and told me he was going to wait outside for his friends to come. He seriously waitied on the porch in that chair for a half hour watching down the road for everyoen to arrive and screamed with joy when the first car arrived. Jude is already asking if it is almost time for his next birthday.
Happy Easter
We celebrated Easter with my sisters and their families in Minnesota. Easter egg hunts, great food, laughter, baseball/tennis in the parking lot, playground time in intense wind...the list goes on.
Everyone played baseball in the parking lot. The cousins let Jude use a tennis raquet instead of the bat to help him along (or speed up the game).
Finding hidden Easter baskets in the morning - a family tradition. Note to self - hide the basket in a more difficult location next year.
Mowing the lawn with cousin Rita.
Found One!
Eating treats after the big Easter egg hunt.
Love this face!
My mom taking shelter from the wind at the park by laying in the slide. Notice the cup of coffee in hand.

The start of the catch up series.
We have got to get caught up on this blog! Here are a few of my favorites from a weekend trip to visit gma and gma Meenderieng in March. The weather was crisp and cool but warm in the sun and we took advantage of the beautiful Spring day to fly the kite jude received for Christmas from his uncle Larry (it is a huge hit Larry - thank you!).
