Healthy Baby Boy
Jude Harper Meendering was born on Monday, April 27th at 3:05 pm. We were set to report to the hospital at 6:00 am on Monday morning to be induced, but I woke Jon up at 3:00 am when I could feel regular contractions and we realised that it go time! We were so excited to go into labor on our own and after 12 hours of labor with 3.5 hours of pushing our little boy was in our arms. He weighed 7 lbs 11 oz, is 21 inches long, and is healthy and happy (most of the time). We came home from the hospital on Wednesday night and have slowly been adjusting to life with a newborn. We are totally in love with him and just can't seem to get enough.
